Coaching Days

On the 15th September I was one of a number of tutors from Foden's to tutor Lions Youth Band. Foden's have had a close working relationship with Lions for a number of years and carry out a number of coaching days with them throught out the year. The standard of the band is  improving which has been highlighted in a number of recent contest results

On the 20th October I was a tutor with the Foden's Youth Band helping them prepare for a concert that I am promoting at the Victoria Hall, Hanley on the 3rd November. All at Foden's are very proud of our Youth Band which has now been running for just over a year. The members attend rehearsals once per month and are featured in around 4 high profile concerts per year. The youth band was set up to give the youngsters extra training on top of that which they receive at their own Youth Bands rather than to compete against these bands. Due to this we have a lot of support form all the local youth bands in the area. As you would imagine the standard is very high and players are very committed.
